Dateline: Dreamscape

Spring has sprung! Well not actually for many it has not. There is still snow on the ground where I am, in that real world place. There are also places inworld where snow can be found still thick on the ground. But the possibility of spring is in the air. Oh the possibilities!

There are also definitely lots of possibilities in the air in the Dreamscape. The merger of two worlds! The meeting and greeting between DSers and SKers is a sight to behold. The giving, the sharing, the watching, the learning, the becoming one community. Sure, there are bumps. Many of the SKers are still homeless, awaiting their turfs. But we know they are safe, and will make it across to the new Island of SK real soon now. I hear they hired a Troll moving company, which has me a little worried about my breakables, but I'm sure they will be as careful as they can be.

Which brings me to other changes, non troll carried. I am pleased to announce that Norrie and RedRoses have moved up from the reporter pool and into the web editing office space. Some will say it's because the city desk area was getting crowded. Others will say it's so they get the larger office. But since our offices overlook the Heath, it's not like their scenery is going to be improved. So we say welcome, and don't even THINK about eyeing my office space.

Good news comes in threes, so I'm waiting for that third piece of good news.

The first of course was the mentioned merger with Second Kingdom.

And well some may think the promotion of Norrie and RedRoses is piece number two, that's hardly great news for everyone inworld, so it doesn't count.

Good news two is that our Oracles have finally gotten their powers back. After having lost them due to an incident this editor prefers to try and forget, they are now able to once more do those things they do so well. It's good news for them and all of us with powers back, and promotions for major Dreamscape players.

Our own Twilight will now be director of worlds. Trashka will now be a World Manager. A little bit of advice for Twilight, when holding town meetings in SC, you can avoid blushing if you just keep your eyes closed! May make it hard to see the questions, but hey, maybe someone else can help you with that.

I hope everyone has a great spring, or fall for those on the other side of the equator. And don't forget to give all the newly fully powered O's practice in the body lab.
